Here are some of the attendees of last night's reception of the ARTsisters Group Exhibit at Meridian Bank, 16 W Market Street in West Chester, PA

All are artsisters:
From left are Sandi Lovitz, Sandra Benhaim, Roberta Wellburn Milstead, Ellen Abraham, Jeanne Guerin-Daley and Marge Feldman.

Many thanks to Michael Milstead for taking the picture.

Editing One's Links

Fellow ARTsister Sandra Benhaim asked me to change the link to her website on this blogpage. I was busy & couldn't do it at the time she asked, but now I have a few minutes so I not only did it, but I made notes along the way. So now I have step-by-step instructions for all of you who may want to make use of them (empowerment!).

Following these instructions, you can change the link to your website if and when you need to, but also, you can just go through the process and don't change anything. Just save it as is. Then, after having gone through it, you will see how E-A-S-Y and intuitive it is! Then you will be able to add a link whenever you feel the need. Some ARTsisters have additional pages that they may want to put on the site, say, for a side business. Linda, Sandi N-L and Joye come to mind.

Here is the step-by-step:

STEP ONE
From the ARTsisters Chalkboard web page, look for the SIGN IN button in the upper right corner. Click SIGN IN.

You will see a page where you can sign in (username (your email address) and type in your password. If you have already created an account, click "sign in."

If you haven't yet created an acount, you can create one by clicking here.

STEP TWO
Click on the layout tab for the Artsisters chalkboard blog.

Look for "LINKS".
Click "Edit".

STEP THREE
A new, separate little window opens showing the links that are already on the site.

Find the link you want to change. To the left of it, click "Edit". The page will refresh, showing little text boxes with the Name and the URL.
(The "Name" is what the viewer of the site can read. The "URL" is the actual web address that is necessary for the computer to know where to go. It stands for Uniform Resource Locator. That information does not need to be shown to the reader, but it must be in the code in order to work.)

To change the URL, simply do whatever typing changes are needed. Then click the "Save" button.
The little text boxes will disappear and go back to showing just the link Name on the "configure Link List page.

Click on the orange "SAVE" button. That little separate window disappears and now you're back at the ARTsisters Chalkboard Layout Tab, page elements heading.

Useful tidbit:
To get to the blogger dashboard, from the main ARTsisters chalkboard web page, click on the little orange icon at the top left of the page. You will see this icon on any google blog page.

Welcome to ARTsisters Chalk Board

Hey there, fellow ARTsisters!

When I read Maria's reminder about Tyme gallery, with the suggestion to work out the timing of the reception "amongst yourselves" I thought, "How in the heck can we work it out if we don't see each other that much? Then I thought, how about a web site that could act as a sign-up sheet, a chalk board, where each of us, when we know your schedules, can go and write down when we'll be there. Then after a few folks sign on, we can all go to the site and see if there's enough coverage for all times.

One can simply click on "post a comment" then type in their name and when they'll be there. If might be a better way rather than each of us sending "replies to All" and all of us ending up with a million emails! Let's give it a try, shall we?

I'll start.

July 11th reception is from 5 to 9.

Jeanne will commit to being there from 7 till 9, will come earlier too, if I can.
